Social Services Assessment

The Québec Cabinet recently amended the order that created AETMIS, broadening its mandate.

As a result, the Agency’s mission has encompassed social services since April 8, 2009, a need that had been often expressed by a number of partners.

The Agency’s mandate includes drawing up multidisciplinary, cross-sectoral practice guidelines to be used by all health and social services stakeholders. It is also responsible for developing means to assess the clinical and organizational performance of Québec’s social services, ensuring that such assessments are conducted and releasing the findings.
